NewEgg ... now with improved drive shipping

Recently had cause to order a small batch of drives, ended up finding them cheapest at NewEgg.

Was kind of puzzled at the relatively large box that arrived. Inside, four more boxes ...



Each of which contained ...



A heavy-plastic-and-air doodad ...



completely surrounding the drive, including on the ends ...



and which flips open to let the drive out.



Voila.

I think that'd get real annoying if they do it on larger bulk orders, but I have to concede it is among the best drive packaging I've seen a retailer provide for a drive.

Thanks for the pictures. Good to see, since I've been debating on where to order my next drives from and was rather concerned about the shipping issues.
