New group in "Accounts"

Hello. Posting here because I wasn't able to find a solution to this problem.
I can't create a new group in FreeNAS-11.2-U6. 'Name*' field stays red no matter what I fill in there. 'Save' button is not available. I can create a new user with identical group name but not identical ID. I need my user and group to have the same name and ID that is below 1000. I made sure that the ID I chose is unique. But I can't create a new group no matter what ID or name I use. Can't click on 'Save'. Do I need to re-install? Or is there a setting that I need to change? I've never seen this before.

I quickly installed the same version of FreeNAS on the VM, went straight to create a new group and it didn't like the "-" (dash) in the group name. I was able to create a new user and new group as part of the process and it accepted the dash as part of the name. But again, group ID was different than user ID. After I deleted both, user and group, I was able to create just group with desired ID and name, on my test VM.
