I have never posted an introduction message whenever I registered in a forum but the more I read about FreeNAS, the more I feel like being part of the community. Maybe this is because I have used FreeBSD as my main desktop OS for the last 10 years (with some gaps) and like the philosophy behind.
I have played with the thought of buying the mainboard and RAM, which FreeNAS Mini uses, and build a machine myself. It would be less expensive and I would be able to choose a better looking case. :)
I dismissed the idea because I want to support the development of FreeNAS/FreeBSD even in a financially relatively inconvenient time.
I look forward to playing with the FreeNAS Mini.
Thank you for all your work!
