FreeNAS 11.2-U2.1
We have a FreeNAS install that has been running well on 9.10U6 and previous versions. A colleague recently upgraded it to 11-STABLE, but it didn't go well and rolled back to 9.10U6. Last night I upgraded it again to 11-STABLE and although the upgrade appeared to work and the interfaces appeared to be configured as before, there was no network connectivity.
I rolled it back to 9.10 and immediately upgraded to 11.2-U2.1. Again, it came up and from the console appeared to be functioning normally, except not network. I ran tcpdump and observed no incoming traffic for maybe the first minute, then suddenly the network functioned normally and I could load the web UI from another host. This continued indefinitely until about a minute after killing tcpdump. I guess the interface needs to be in promiscuous mode for it to function normally? I rolled back to 9.10 as this is a production system and I wasn't comfortable leaving it in that state.
The network configuration looks like this:
To be clear, I didn't do any testing with vlan121, just vlan101.
If we have to disable lacp to make this work it's not a deal breaker, but it's not something I tried. If we can make it work as currently configured then that would be ideal. I have done some googling around this but came up with nothing so far. Any ideas?
