I has freenas setup and last year my buddy's computer crashed hard and he needed a new rig.

I decided to just pull the drives from the FreeNAS server, then install a new drive and install windows, then I added a budget video card and he was happy.

Well, I forgot what a headache it was to setup the first time and now I can't get it to configure for me. I am importing my old derives as they seem fine according to TrueNAS. but after all of the configs I can't read the imported drives no matter what.

I have went through a half dozen videos trying to get it to work without success. If anyone can help me I would be grateful. I can post logs/screenshots, or whatever.

I hope some of these screenshot will be helpful.

Thanks for any help.

In what way are you trying to read them? The pool appears to be imported and in good condition. The next step would normally be to create one or more shared directories or datasets, which you'd then access from some other system. Have you done that? Because none of the screen shots you've given indicate that you've done anything with file sharing.

After I was done setting up TrueNas was maping a network drive on my other PC,, it would time out like it couldn't find anything.

Do I need to setup folders in TruesNAS?

Maybe I log in the wrong folder. \192.168.50.125\Backup

I used the admin account to map as I do with login.

It keeps saying network cannot be found.

I got it, I ran an SMB setup and it worked. I think I messed up the username account. I found my old name in a long list and it worked.

Thanks for the help.
