NAS Rebuild

So I have an existing TrueNas build (12-U8.1) that is currently running with 4 drives, and using an SSD as the boot drive. I planning on redoing that to be 8 drives and the SSD. I have a LSI HBA (9300-8i) card (new), and figured I would go to Truenas 13.0 during this upgrade. The data doesn't matter, it is stored on multiple machines here at the house, so it's easily replaced (pushed back over)

Which brings me to the question, I've can't seem to find an answer to:

- Do I need to do anything with the 4 existing drives before starting over? Or can I just plug everything in, reinstall and set everything up again?

Since you're not intending to keep the data from that pool, you should wipe the disks (quickest is to do that when using the Export/disconnect option and tick the box for a quick wipe).
