Alright everyone so i have the following FreeNAS build and spec's:

FreeNAS Server 9.3
Supermicro X8DTE-CS045 , dual E5530 @ 2.40Ghz with noctua heatsinks
48GB of RAM
M1015 with 2 SAS cables to the backplane
Dual 80GB Intel SSD's for boot
x7 4TB WD Red's RAIDz3
x7 2TB WD RE4's RAIDz3
x7 2TB WD RE4's RAIDz3
Chelsio T420-CR 10GB card
Supermicro SC846E16-R1200B case

I am trying to determine if a 400Gb Intel 750 PCI E SSD will do my build any justice, 90% of the data access is through CIFS for windows based computers and servers, and one Mac. I also run a Plex jail for my media.

Will i see any benefit of a PCI E SSD?

It will do it justice in terms of cool factor. But might not help out with speeds much. Basically, the 750 is one helluva slog, as it's latency and throughput is wicked for the $$. But it doesn't look like you have sync writes.... so meh. It could also do some seriously fast l2arc work for ya... but you need a compatible workload, and likely want to chop it up as you don't want much more than 5:1 ram:l2arc. So not much bang for the buck unless you start feeding nfs or iscsi with sync. Or you know you can hit your l2arc.

Mighty fine scratch style disk for video editing, or quick transfers with your 10GB network.
