Multiple drives, one large volume.

Hello, I would love to have multiple drives and on large volume like ZFS stripe, but without the risk of loosing the entire volume if 1 disc fails.

So if 1 dics fails, I only loose the data on that disc.

Is this possible? If, how ?

Not exactly...with FreeNAS you can combine a bunch of disks into a pool that has 1 or 2 drives worth of redundancy. Take a look at this excellent presentation put together by one of the forum users, it should give you a good starting point on FreeNAS & ZFS.
