This might help somebody else out there, but I wanted to possibly help somebody in the future.
On my system, I setup LACP with 2 of the onboard nics. Gave it an address for the LAN that I manage it from (using vlan id).
Then, I setup a second IP for it, using the vlan id for the network that it will be used for. (Different subnets)
Anyway, I had to reboot the system and once it came back up, i found that the second IP address wasn't working.
The GUI interface showed that all was as it should be, but ifconfig said it didn't have an address at all.
SO under network/interfaces, I opened the settings for the interface that wasn't working. Put a check in the "auto configure ipv6", then unchecked it.
then clicked OK.
said OK to the message saying it was going to disrupt network traffic.
I ran ifconfig again, and the IP address was back and everythign was back to the way it should be.
I hope that helps somebody in the future.
