multipath

Hi,
I've been searching the forums but all i found is the opposite of my problem. -> removing multipathed disks from a pool.

Long story short :
We've setup a pool NOT multipathed, and now that we have added a second path to the Storage enclosure, I'd like to change my pool to use both paths.
I've been trying quite a lot, and 4 out of 24 Disks are runnining multipathed now, but my methods alsways led to a full resilver. The complete pool consists of 36 6TB SAS drives, so you can imagine how long that takes each time.
Can anyone guide me on how to achieve that without a full resilver?

I don't think it's possible to do with without a resilver. When you set-up the pool, multipath should be already configured.
