Log on credentials to my share changed

I upgraded to 11.1 today. I used to be able to connect to my shared folder using just an account name such as "Administrator". This login no longer works by itself. I now have to login with "freenas\administrator". I have 70 computers that backup to freenas and I would have to change the credentials on all computers to get backups working again.

How can I get the old login working again?

I was not so I just restored my USB stick from an image I made of the last install.

Just to clarify, did you roll back to 11.0? Are your machines on a domain/central directory server?
