Filezilla client on Windows. Ubuntu host.

I have a user "ftpuser" and I added the user to www-data group. I can see /var/www (owned by www-data) via SSH/putty, but when I connect via Filezilla, all I see is the ftpuser root directory.

I am sure that this is due to my lack of understanding of the Filezilla GUI, but no documentation makes it clear how to access directories that aren't in the root directory of the user.

Did you configure the path in the FTP Settings?

Does this indicate that you figured out the problem?

If you're not able to access the directory on the FTP server running on your freenas box it could very easily be a configuration of either the FTP server or the user account
