Hi, everyone!

I just tried setting up a jail with the integrated Virtualbox-template. By the way, I use the 9.3 release. Everything works fine, but if I log onto the virtualbox via the web Interface (which uses a VNC applet) or via a vnc viewer, the keyboard mapping is all wrong. Googling around, it seems like a configuration issue with the integrated VNC server. Anyone got an idea?

Thank you
Bernhard

Unfortunately not. Changing the keyboard-layout in the guest-OS or on the computer accessing the VNC does swap some keys (as it's supposed to do), but for example the @-sign is always printed as 2. And most non-alphabetical characters are simply ignored. Directly sending the scancodes (Alt-number) does not work as well (of course, it doesn't).

But, I was able to confirm, it's a VNC-issue. I finished installing the guest-OS (Windows 10 Technical Preview) and connected via Remote Desktop. There, the keyboard-mappings worked.
