SOLVED ix3 failure after update to 11.2

I'm not quite sure if this is just a coincidence (with the update to 11.2) or not:

The System is a Supermicro A2SDi-8C+-HLN4F. If I'm not mistaken, the 4 network ports are provided by a single chip. ix0-2 are working fine. So my guess is that a HW failure is unlikely but not impossible.

Any ideas?

Just a quick update - a BIOS upgrade to version 1.1b fixed it.
