I seeing the following fragment of log:

Code:
Aug 15 10:53:09 nas04 kernel: Aug 15 10:53:09 nas04 istgt[1380]: istgt_iscsi.c:4034:istgt_iscsi_op_data: ***ERROR*** offset error
Aug 15 10:53:09 nas04 kernel: Aug 15 10:53:09 nas04 istgt[1380]: istgt_iscsi.c:4569:istgt_iscsi_execute: ***ERROR*** iscsi_op_data() failed
Aug 15 10:53:09 nas04 kernel: Aug 15 10:53:09 nas04 istgt[1380]: istgt_iscsi.c:5156:worker: ***ERROR*** iscsi_execute() failed on iqn.2011-03.example.org.istgt:mail.qld,t,0x0001(iqn.2011-06.com.example:58d535ea,i,0x00023d010000)

uname -a:
Code:
FreeBSD nas04(withheld) 8.2-RELEASE-p1 FreeBSD 8.2-RELEASE-p1 #4: Sat Apr 30 10:39:46 PDT 2011     jpaetzel@servant.iXsystems.com:/usr/home/jpaetzel/freenas/obj.amd64/usr/home/jpaetzel/freenas/FreeBSD/src/sys/FREENAS.amd64  amd64

These errors are a major concern, I see a series of them, then the NAS starts to refuse all iSCSI connections. All NFS (as well as other protocols apart from scsi) continues to run fine. There are no disk or filesystem errors logged, and no other signs of problems on the NAS.

Any pointers very much appreciated.

I have exactly the same issue. the freenas is connected to four xenservers. I've been running ms sql server in virtualised environment and noticed a lot of database corruptions. Investigating further, i've found these log messages at the same time as heavy sql server load and db corruptions.

Has anyone managed to find the solution for that?

Thanks
