This isn't a FreeNAS specific question, but presumably, the issue has nothing to do with where the openVPN service is running from (it's running on my router rather than my FreeNAS server). I've already tried to contact Asus, openVPN, and Microsoft, and Asus/Microsoft have so far been unable to assist me, and I have yet to hear back from the openVPN community/support, so I'm not really sure who else to ask other than someone who has potentially dealt with openVPN enough.
So, I'm able to connect to the VPN without any issues from my iPhone through the openVPN app (using the config file downloaded from my router), I'm able to successfully connect from my phone when it's on both LTE and Wifi. However, every time I try to connect from either my Windows 7 computer (through the openVPN app) or my Mac (through Tunnelblick) and both constantly fail to connect.
