iSCSI with CHAP - See Authenticated Connections

Q1: How can I confirm that TrueNAS 13 has an authenticated iSCSI CHAP connection? I have a password(secret) mismatch between the target and the initiator and it still connects!

Q2: If I have a Discovery Auth Method defined on a portal, will a non-CHAP connection be refused?
