Hello forums, I have a custom built server with these specs:
FreeNAS 9.10.2 U1
Supermicro X10DAL motherboard
Xeon E5-2620 2.40GHz
32GB RAM
8x Western Digital WD4002FYYZ 4TB drives in raid 10

My question is about iSCSI parameters. I found this post which states these values are hard coded now, unlike earlier versions. Also says that iSCSI negotiates them for each initiator/target combination.

I want to make sure this is indeed the case, because I would like to be able to tune them to match my ESXi server. If they are not adjustable, is there any way to see what these parameters have been negotiated to so I can verify they match what ESXi is using?

Thanks much in advance.

According to the developer:
That is true, our iSCSI does not have control for those things. But that does not mean a problem, since iSCSI negotiates them. Between initiator and target during connection setup. Our default values are reasonably high. But if user set lower values on esxi side, our side will follow that. Exact match between initiator and target is not required.
