ISCSI on FreeNAS-9.10-STABLE & ESX 6.5 upgrade

Does upgrade from 5.5 to 6.5 would have impact on iscsi storage (freenas)? Now I have 5.5 and all is working like a charm and wonder if 6.5 has any issues that would affect current freenas storage.

Should be no problem. I'm running ESXi 6.5 with storage over iSCSI from 9.10.2-U5 without issue. Lots of good things come from moving away from 5.5, but to take advantage of some of the new storage features, you'll need to create new VMFS6 datastore(s)...not upgrade your current datastore(s).
