ISCIS not authenticating

<div class="bbWrapper">I am running FreeNAS V8.3.0 and Windows 8 on my locally connected network.<br /> <br /> I can connect using CIFS. No problem.<br /> <br /> I thought I would see if ISCSI was faster.<br /> <br /> So I followed the video on youtube and it all made sense. <br /> <br /> My windows 8 PC can see the FREENAS Isci target. But I cannot authenticate.<br /> <br /> I am using CHAP authentication ( i don't think you can have a target without a password) for the target only.<br /> <br /> I keep getting 'authentication error' on the PC.<br /> <br /> Is there something I am missing?<br /> <br /> Does anyone have this combo working? How do I debug it? <br /> <br /> Otherwise I like FreeNAS.....</div>
