Intel 540 Card showing link on card and switch but not os

I have a IX driver intel 540 card that is showing link on the card, and switch as well as duplex, etc from the switch side, but the os reports no link.

My freeBSD is a little rusty any tips in troubleshooting this, guessing i need to seet Duplex/speed type things?
