Installed latest 9.3 stable update, now get NMBD messages

Help, please. These appeared after I installed the recent SAMBA fix. What are they, and how might I get rid of them?

Is the "Local Master" box checked in Services -> CIFS? If so, does unchecking the box and restarting the service fix it?
