Which version of FreeNAS? Size of USB stick? How did you perform the install?

You need at least a 4gb usb stick. Better a 8gb one! Read the manual.

The problem is your hw. I'm sorry to say that but freenas won't never run on that pc. Please reade the hw requirements of freenas and you will see your hw is far far away from what are the MINIMUM requirements
