Hi I have 2 2TB drives total 4TB running in Mirror so available space is only 2TB. I read that it is not simple to add drives. I wish to purchase for example another 6TB lets say 3TB each drive. Would this be difficult to add these to the mirror configuration?

Increasing space by adding drives

You can easily add additional drives to a pool if you want more capacity.
You would simply add the new drives as an additional VDEV in the same pool and your capacity will be increased by the size of the newly added mirror.

Add whatever size you like (but both disks in a mirror should be the same size or you'll waste space on the larger one).
