Importing physical volume into Virtual setup

Hi, I currently have a small FreeNAS setup at home and wanted to utilise the desktop, change it into an HTPC and setup a virtual FreeNAS.

Does anyone know if it is possible to import my current storage pool into the virtual setup and even better, import my current OS installed on my USB?

I would just do a fresh install but the one draw back is transferring files temporarily onto external storage and back again would take days.


4 x 3TB HDD
16 GB RAM
