Importing certificate *.crt and *.key file?

Hi, can someone please explain the correct way to import a *.crt and *.key file into FreeNAS CORE?

Do I need to convert it first, or does it accept these file types natively?

It accepts them natively. Go to System -> Certificates -> Add, and under Type select Import Certificate. Then just paste in the contents of those files.
