I get an error trying to start windows 7 vm install on freenas 11
Error: windows boot manager
windows failed to start..
\EFI\Microsoft\Boot\BCD

It seems like it didn't create the EFI partition correctly, try to reinstall Windows and make sure that the VM is set use EFI instead of EFI-CSM, also make sure during the installation that the EFI partition is being created during the partition disk phase.

I also can't get Windows 7 VM to install but my problem is a little different,

My setup:
Supermicro: CSE-846E16-R1200B
Motherboard: X9DRI-LN4F+
CPU: Intel Xeon E5 2690v1 2.9Ghz x2
Memory: 192GB DDR3 SDRAM ECC (24x8GB)
Disks: 6 x WD Red 2TB Raidz1 & 1 x 128GB SSD stripe

Attempted to install VM on the SSD

I had the same issue before, later on, i've change to another Win7p iso. However, i get another problem which is same like "Amsoil_Jim".
Is there anyone have solved this problem? please advice. Thanks.
