Hello everyone, i'm running freenas happily for a few months now.
But yesterday one of the disks started producing errors.

Code:
Device: /dev/ada3, 4 Currently unreadable (pending) sectors

So, i went to view the status of the Zvol, the disk was later added to the pool, something tells me not the way it should because the front end shows this..

Vol1Z
- stripe
- - ada3p2
- raidz1-0
- - ada2p2
- - ada1p2
- - ada0p2

What have i done wrong? or haven't?
Well besides that I've made a f*ck up by taking the wrong disk offline (ada0p2 / 8188695242579307915)

Code:
  NAME STATE READ WRITE CKSUM
        Vol1Z DEGRADED 0 0 0
          raidz1-0 DEGRADED 0 0 0

Now my question, how can i add the offlined disk again, without losing data. There was nothing wrong with this disk.

Nope, it's not the way it should be. One disk has no redundancy. Lose that disk, lose that pool!

You are in a crappy way now. I'd just backup the pool, destroy it, then recreate it from scratch.

Ok, I was afraid of that.
I've put the offline disk back online using console. Looks ok,
I'm now backup-up important data.

Thanks for your help.
