Hi all, so I decided to use the IX-TrueNAS box at work (Deployed 3 VM's on it and using it for offline storage) and instead I am going to use the above stated server at my house as a TrueNAS box since the IX box wouldn't stream movies and I nrequire no where near that amount of storage. I wanted and it needed more horsepower. The server is a Dual Processor 20 cores/40 threads, 64GB ECC ram, I purchased one 480GB HP-SSD drive that will fit into slot one to run the TrueNAS OS and then I purchased 7/1TB HP 10K HDDs for $185 bucks from a guy off of ebay and will use that for storage. I don't need a cache drive since I have more than enough ram.

Anything else I am missing? Been fun running TrueNAS scale so far on the IX box, really want to see how it will perform on the big HP server.

I don't understand what you are trying to say.
both your description of the hardware (do you have 2 systems? 1 system? 1 at work and 1 at home?) and what you are trying to ask, make no sense to me.
it sounds like you took your work enterprise TrueNAS home ("IX-TrueNAS Box"?), which makes me wonder why you are asking here instead of asking IX systems for support?

probably the first thing to do would be to put your hardware in a simple format that doesnt rely on us being able to follow your paragraphs.
eg
system (1, 2, 3 ,etc)
CPU:
Motheboard:
RAM:
TrueNAS version.
