HP DL180 Gen10: will it TrueNAS?

I am about to buy an HP DL180 Gen10 with the following specs:

CPU: Intel Xeon-Bronze 3204 (1.9GHz/6-core/85W)
RAM: HPE 16GB (1x16GB) Single Rank x4 DDR4-2933 CAS-21-21-21 Registered​

RAID Controller: HPE FIO Enable Smart Array SW RAID (it's a software raid, I am not going to buy the P-series hardware controller)​

Will it TrueNAS? Should I be aware of something? AFAIK the hardware controller has to be avoided since it will not work nicely with ZFS. Is the software solution a good one? Can I disable/bypass it? Should I consider to buy some different hardware to make the DL180 work? (I am not sure if I still need of an IBM M1015 or something similar in order to make the solution work fine).

Is anybody able to help?
