how to know if my LSI card is detected and working?

Hello,
I am just starting on FreeNas and finished my first installation on my hardware today.
I do not have drives yet to install... and would like to know if I can check already that the LSI card i got is detected and seems to be fine.
How would i do that?

Well, sas2ircu/sas3ircu or sas2flash/sas3flash should work.
