Hi,

I created a Nextcloud jail and changed the login details of the admin user. I would like to edit the 'Post Installation Notes' to reflect the new password I setup.
Could anyone please advise on how to update the information located in that file?

Thank you

I know the 'Post Installation Notes' are typically used by plugins, I'm not sure about regular jail

Regardless, the 'Post Installation Notes' are generated from a text file located inside the jail /root/PLUGIN_INFO

You can edit the PLUGIN_INFO file with a text editor to include what you want

A few things you might find helpful
- Try not to use more than 50 characters per line, or the line will wrap
- Leading white space and blank lines are not rendered in the TrueNAS UI

Thank you very much.

Do you know how to edit the URL that get opened when you click on 'manage'?

If your dealing with a plugin, that comes from the ui.json - I don't think that is located inside the jail

For an example ui.json SEE HERE - You may notice, you can also set the url to some docs from this file as well

If you are dealing with a plugin, the location of the file is at (replace $ZPOOL and $JAIL_NAME accordingly)

/mnt/$ZPOOL/iocage/jails/$JAIL_NAME/plugin/ui.json
