How can I verify the speed of NIC in server. I was getting file copies of 100mb now about 10mb since last few FreeNAS updates. I want to verify the cards are running at 1gb not 10/100.

Iperf would be a good place to start.

http://doc.freenas.org/9.3/freenas_cli.html#iperf can get you started. Also, ifconfig will show which speed was negotiated.
