Hello,
I apologize in advance if this question was already answered and I didn't see it.
I would like to connect my freenas server to the router wiressly. My card is not supported. I installed freebsd and created .ko file from win drivers using ndisgen. I was able to configure it in freebsd (copying .ko to /boot/modules, adding to ifconfig commands, etc) it worked.
Then I thought I would do the same on freenas. Apparently, I cannot copy files to boot/modules dir. Freenas menu allows me to go to unix prompt and it shows that I am root, but neither chmod nor mkdir dont work :(.
Is there a workaround? I really would like to use freenas instead of full freebsd, and REALLY dont want to put my nas server close to router.
Sincerely.
