Help with datasets and subfolders

Hi everyone,

I finally upgraded to 11.3-U2.
I created a new dataset in the shell under a dataset folder. My problem is it doesn't show up under the web gui, but is visible in shell and winscp. I have tried mirroring the privileges to a dataset created from the gui that shows up just fine in the gui to no avail.

I have tried searching the forums as well as search engines, but no luck.

You may have created directories rather than a dataset. What command did you use?

I think that is what I did now that you ask it that way.

I used mkdir. Is there any way to convert them now that I have made them. I have a couple of terabytes that I don't really want to move if I can help it.

I'd rename the directory using mv, create the dataset in the UI and then copy the data into it.
