HBA wont show disk in TrueNas 12 Despite showing up during boot

Hi,

I have had my FreeNas machine sitting in storage for a while and I have booted it up again to find a few issues. I have had some problems with a couple of my HDD's having Cam errors, replaced the disk and had similar problems again. They are connected via a SATA breakout cable from a back plane to the motherboard sata connectors. I also have a M1015 card connected to 8 empty bays on the backplane but currently does not have any disks connected to it. I moved one of my problem discs across to a bay that connects to the M1015 card to see if that eliminated my problems but the drive does not show up in TrueNas. The drive does however show up during boot under the HBA controller. The controller is flashed to IT mode with firmware P20. I am just wondering what is going wrong that TrueNas 12 does not see the disk. Are you able to give some advice on how to troubleshoot this please.

I did a clean install of TrueNas Core a week ago.

Here are some details about my build.

Supermicro MB
Norco 24 Bay Rack mount Chasis
8 x Western Digital 3TB HDD's in Z2
SAS9220-8i HBA Controller in IT mode P20
24GB ECC RAM
Latest Version of TrueNas

I will list some screen shots

Thanks.
Anthony.

Could you share the output from dmesg?

How are you assessing that the drive is "not showing up"? (GUI?)

Update, all good now. Must of been an issue when flashing this the first time. I've flashed it again and now I can see that there is actually two controllers. One built into the motherboard and one on my card. I thought the one I could see was the card but it was not. I flashed it again and now everything is working.

Thanks for the help.
