You'd get a better value with spending $50 more and buying an 250GB 850 EVO (1 or 2) or an additional $37 for the 850 Pro, which comes with a 10yr warranty (EVOs are 5yr).

It's probably not going to be a good SLOG (if it even has power loss protection), it's too small for most L2ARC applications and overkill for a boot drive (SAS for booting? What a pain in the ass...).

Yeah maybe the capacity is insufficient but I just reinstalled my FreeNAS into this drive and everything is working great since I have a few spare SAS ports.
