FTP Performance issues

I am getting 50MB/s speeds for FTP transfer. Using m1015 and supermicro SAS2 backplane.The volume is 6 drive raid-z2. Processor is avoton and using 32GB ECC ram.
Any suggestions would be appreciated?

Did you figure this out? If not, post the output of ifconfig.

Since this is a network issue, could you also specify more about the netwerk stuff relevant to your connection from the ftp client to the ftp server?

are you connected wireless?
If connected wireless, do other protocols give higher speeds than FTP?
Does this issue happen on all clients?

Sorry...This is box I built for my friend.Haven't had a chance to retest yet..Will share once I get a chance to test.
