Hi,

I just upgraded Freenas from 9.1.1 to 9.2.0 via GUI upgrade, the upgrade went smooth, but when I login to Freenas, it took a long time to load System Menu. What's wrong?

Not sure. Just for fun, have you tried doing a reboot?

You are using an Realtek, and those cause odd random problems that go away with an Intel NIC...

Try to wipe browser cache (or just do a CTRL+F5)

Not a litter longer I think, v9.1.1 loaded system menu in 1 second, but the v9.2.0 took more than 1 minute.

Experienced the same problem myself, without figuring it out. Until I saw this post on Reddit: http://www.reddit.com/r/freenas/comments/1uyj6w/anyone_else_experiencing_a_slow_web_gui_in_92/

Resolved: I had to put a name server and default gateway under the network section. I'm not sure why a name server is required to speed the interface up, but after adding it and rebooting, it was fast again.

Worked like a charm here after adding name servers and default gateway under the network section. No reboot necessary. Is this issue Realtek-related?

Wow... finally worked like a charm here, too. But a reboot was necessary here. Thanks
