freenas UI not starting and has error cannot import name VcenterConfigurationForm

Hi Everybody,

Sinds two weeks I have this problem where the freenas server cannot start the UI (see all info below). Has anybody has a suggestion how to solve this problem? I can see and use my jails apps but not able to smb to my shares etc.

your help is appreciated!

Please read the rules and try again. We need way more information. Hardware, set up, when did this start? I'll also point out that running freenas virtually has it's own issues. Are these virtual disks or real disks being passed thorough by you controller.

I have freenas FreeNAS-9.3-STABLE-201605170422 running on an external USB drive. This is running for more than a year without issues. I have updated freenas several times using the ui. I have four hard disk configured as two zfs volumes extended (stripe).

Like I said the ui is not starting (since two weeks I have this issue)and when loading the ui page the error in the first post is displayed.

My plugins installed in jails on one of the zfs volumes are working and can be started. These plugins can also access my data drive on my second zfs volume. Next to the ui not starting my cifs smb shares are not accessible anymore on the second zfs volume. Also my time machine share is still working.

Replace your usb stick with a new one and upload your backup configuration. Your usb stick is probably dead.

I have booted now to an previous version and its has booted and it's accessible. I will try to perform an update to see if this fixes the problem
