Hi all,
I have some hardware with some disks, for some reason it crashed, there is a particular disk (SAS-12G) that is hanging the bus. Now I'm trying to reboot, FreeNAS probes all available devices (quad redundant paths + dual-ported SAS disks = 740 block devices).
However if one is blocking, this blocks the entire boot process so I have to disconnect everything, boot up, import the pool (which gets the UI all confused). Is there a way for FreeNAS to avoid probing all the devices upon boot?
The problem is that I don't know which device is blocking, I need the LSI SAS tools to figure out the disk and blink the lights.
