FreeNAS OS disk mirroring

Hi,
I have a 7 disk on my server with LSI9211 IT-Mode v20.00.00.07 HBA
I'd like to Install FreeNAS over 2 mirrored disks and the rest I'll use for data storage

My question is whether to use the card's HW mirror
Or
Use software mirroring from within FreeNAS

Use software mirroring from within FreeNAS

This. Never use hardware RAID with FreeNAS. But if you're planning to install on actual disks (i.e., spinning rust), I'd encourage you to reconsider your plan.
