I am getting the subject message. What does it mean? Using FreeNAS-9.1.1-RELEASE-x64 (a752d35)

I'm assuming this is in /var/log/messages? If so, please post the output of that file so we can get some context for the message.

A side note looks like you have a seagate drive in need of a firmware update see here.. Are you sure the install is clean? Checked checksum after download?

yes. I'll re-download FreeNAS and install again over the weekend.

Just to clarify. It was a clean install, however profile was read in from 8.3.1

A side note looks like you have a seagate drive in need of a firmware update see here.. Are you sure the install is clean? Checked checksum after download?

I get that message for several of my Seagate drives, but when I check on the Seagate Web site, they are all up to date -- four same-model drives with three different fw revisions between them.
