Freenas based freebsd 9.x ETA ?

i was just wondering when freenas will be based on freebsd 9.x (9.1 maybe?)

apparently there is some great improvment with zfs (zfsd is comming?)

freenas 8.4.0 ? 8.5 ?

FreeNAS road map

From the time I've been following, releases have been late, so there's no point in counting on a release until it shows up. Even typing that, I can already hear, "Yeah, I get it. But ball park..."

When there is one, it won't be 8.*, it will cause the numbers to move to 9.*

And as for when, no date set really does mean no date set. It's likely there will be several more 8.x releases before 9.x

Just a guess, but I'm not expecting it before the summer at the earliest and perhaps not until next winter.

According to this site https://calomel.org/zfs_health_check_script.html ZFSd fault management daemon doesn't arrive until FreeBSD10. Until then, you can have a zfs health check script, which in on that page.
