FreeNAS as a backup server

Hi everybody,

I would like to setup a system where I have 2 computers and a server running FreeNAS and I do the backup of the 2 computers on the FreeNAS server (so far, so good :) ).

The point is that I would like to set this up installing as less as possible additional software on the computers (running windows 2000 and windows server 2003 R2) and I would like the FreeNAS server to decide when to do it and not the computers.

If the 2 computers where running linux I would have setup cron+resync but I dont know if this is possible since they are running windows (plus they are deciding when to do the backup and not the FreeNAS server).

Any suggestions?

Ok I figured out that the best way is to install rsync on windows and enable the rsyncd client on freenas (http://dailycupoftech.com/windows-backup-with-rsync-and-freenas/) ..but, how about having multiple windows machines making the backup on freenas? how can I set the IP address of the rsync server on the freenas rsyncd setup page?
