Sir, it seems exceptionally unlikely that sendmail doesn't work in 9.2.0 RC.

Do you have a memory problem, or insufficiently sized RAM or USB stick? This is the most common cause (believe it or not) for the type of weirdness you're describing.

So, one of the other guys, confirms that in a VM, he *is* experiencing the same problem you described. Might be a bug.

And my test system has this issue too. Confirmed.

Doesn't operate on bare metal build with proper hardware. Something is definitely broken with RC2. I'll put in a ticket.

Thank you, community!
Bug resolved now.
Just fix path in /etc/find_alias_for_smtplib.py from #!/usr/bin/local/bin/python2 to #!/usr/local/bin/python2

Bug reborn after reboot. Don't forget to fix path after every reboot to get email working :(

You need to edit /conf/base/etc/find_alias_for_smtplib.py to make the change permanent. Or, just wait for the 9.2.0 release that will contain the fix.
