FreeNAS 8.3.0 Release 1

"Create New Volume" does not show on my menu selection: see file FreeNAS 1

Clicking on View Volumes it shows no volume created:

but

When I open Manage Volumes and attempt to create a volume, the GUI doesn't have buttons to allow me to pick the drives.




Should I reinstall the OS and start from scrathch? :(

What are you talking about? Volume Manager = Create New Volume

Select the disks using CTRL + Mouse Click.

Have they change the GUI? All the videos I have seen have buttons on the left of each disk. If it's the way 8.3.0 Release p1 is designed to look and behave than I am fine, I just didn't know. Moving forward ... to infinity and beyond ...

agray, yes we have. Those videos were made mostly on FreeNAS 8.0.x. Those screenshots appear to be working as intended.

That is great to hear, thanks! Soon I will receive the 4th 1TB drive and the new 8MB memory.
