Hi all,
I just upgraded my earlier version of FreeNAS (don't remember the version though) to ver. 8.2n (FreeBSD 8.2-RELEASE-p2). However, it is running on top of VMWare ESXi 5 (VMWare VSphere Hyvervisor 5). I connected a previously-in-use-by-FreeNAS external disk (USB) to the machine as well.
My problem is that I cannot see this drive in FreeNAS at all. In VMWare itself, the device is visible, i.e. I can see the hard disk by name, when I added a USB controller and then the USB device.
Could somebody point me in the right direction please?
Kind regards!
