Forum for hardware sale?

Is there a community acceptable forum or method to offer up hardware for sale to the FreeNAS community? I have some extra HW I purchased for NAS builds I don't intend to use now. If not I will put them on eBay, but as I bought them with FreeNAS in mind I thought I'd offer here first...

There is a no advertising etc rule. I'm no mod, but I doubt that a quick non-commercial item offered at a deal to the community would be punished harshly. I would think that if the forum became polluted by such things a sub forum or additional "do not be kind and offer your gear to fellow FreeNAS users" would be mentioned.

Let 'er rip. If it is inappropriate, cyberjock ain't too shy to let you know. ;)

It's certainly been done before in off-topic. Good deals on nas specific gear seem to get sold instantly.

Not really. You could try #freenas or try posting in off-topic. I wouldn't say we "sanction it" but we don't ban people or anything for it. Just make it clear this is not a deal that involves iX and stuff and you should be fine. ;)

Thank you for your responses! I certainly understand not wanting to commercialize a sales forum. My situation is that we purchased too much stuff for what we ended up doing, and I'd like to see the hardware go to good use...
