Firefly do not serve FLAC files

Yesterday I installed Firefly plugin. It went easy and iTunes attached to my FreeNAS. The problem was Firefly doesn't seem to work with FLAC files. I found the sample config file "mt-daapd.conf.sample" and according to it I added the following lines to "Auxiliary parameters" section of Firefly GUI configuration:

ssc_codectypes = ogg,flac​

ssc_prog = /usr/pbi/firefly-amd64/bin/mt-daapd-ssc.sh​

Then between the multiple restarts all of a sudden I was able to play one of the FLAC files. Regrettably I restarted Firefly to be sure it's OK and FLAC transcoding was not working. I wasn't able to repeat my success anymore.
Can someone help?

Which version of iTunes? Firefly has not worked with Apple products since iTunes 10.2 and IOS 4.

iTunes is the newest v. 11.1 and it works perfectly with Firefly except for FLAC files. And I'm still sure yesterday the transcoding worked for a while.

always_transcode=flac
